Position: Accountant/Financial Analyst II

Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Accountant/Financial Analyst II
Process transactions, analyze and summarize data, and develop, review, and analyze a variety of policies and procedures pertaining to SSA's financial accounting system. Individually or as a member of a team, conduct studies and analyses of difficult accounting problems and ensure the utilization and accuracy of accounting reports. Assist in implementing and maintaining the accounting system and in assuring that new accounting policies and procedures regarding the system effectively mesh with existing methods and principles. Provides assistance with the contract closeout process.
All Contractor personnel assigned under this contract shall have an up-to-date understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Federal financial accounting concepts and standards published by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB)
A bachelor’s degree, or higher, in accounting from an accredited university or college with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP) designation.
U.S. Citizenship: Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
