Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Federal Proposal Writer.

Job Description:

The candidate shall have previous experience responding to Federal Government RFPs required. Knowledge of FARs helpful. Must have experience working in a deadline driven environment. Knowledge of proposal process required.

Reviews daily search results of current and upcoming government solicitations, generated by both open-source and company-subscribed search engines, and evaluates whether an opportunity’s scope of work, client needs, and staffing requirements relate to corporate capabilities and merit further review. • Conducts research and analysis to assist in qualifying and tracking opportunities. Conducts research of special topics as requested. 

2-5 years in federal proposal development • Excellent grammar, writing, and editing skills • Experience in reading and interpreting documents • Experience gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data professionally and accurately in a clear, concise format • High standard of professional interpersonal communication with colleagues, managers, clients, and other stakeholders • Organizational abilities, with strong initiative and follow-through; good time management, records management, and attention to detail; capable of handling a wide range of administrative and programmatic functions • Ability to work under tight time constraints, as part of a team, coordinating the completion of multiple tasks simultaneously. • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to properly handle confidential information Preferred

U.S. Citizenship: Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
