Position: Budget Analyst II

Location: Tuscaloosa, AL

Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated professional for the position of Budget Analyst II.

Job Description:
Education: B.A. or B.S. degree.
General Experience: two to four years of budget management experience.
Specialized Experience: Experience in budget management in a Federal Government environment.

Functions:
  • Work closely with budget officers and staff to plan and develop spend plans.
  • Assists in analyzing and projecting labor costs and planning for acquisitions.
  • Monitors and tracks commitments, 0bligations, and outlays, including analysis of actuals to plan, and identifies risks or issues needing attention.
  • Conducts ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of appropriations law.
U.S. Citizenship: Must be able to successfully pass a Federal Government level background check.
