Job Description: Our client is seeking qualified, experienced and motivated professionals for the position of Financial Analyst / Clerk. Experience working with the Department of Defense Finance Accounting System (preferably Army Finance) a must. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to (details discussed at interview):
  • Provide a full range of direct financial resources support
  • Conduct audits and provides input to ensure accuracy of pay accounts
  • Promote understanding of effective application of fiscal related policies, procedures, and systems as applicable
  • Assist with the preparation of financial SOPs
  • Must be able to provide financial customer services support as it pertains to military in and out processing, military pay, travel pay and other related functions
  • Maintain finance related documents in accordance with all related policies and regulations
  • Prepares and routes documentation in accordance with applicable policies and regulations
  • Attend meeting as required
 
Key Qualifications and Requirements: 
 
  • Required Skills:
    • Minimum of one year experience with DJMS, DMO, and EDA
    • Must undergo HIPAA Act training and pass test
    • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of DA and DoD finance regulations to include JTR and JFTR
    • Must possess at least one year experience working with military pay and related systems for both active component and reserve component systems. Includes applications as DJMS, ODS, CMS, SFRVS, WINIATS, DMO, EDA and WWPM.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable DA and DoD forms
    • Must be knowledgeable with provisions and limitations of the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with software programs including MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel and current email systems
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively and tactfully communicate information and directions
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a cohesive member of a team
    • Understanding of protocols as they pertain to verbal, written, telephonic and electronic communications
    • Understanding of military protocols
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to effectively handle and respond to short suspense projects with little to no prior warning
    • Prior military experience and/or experience working with military personnel
 
Education: High School Diploma required.
 
Experience: 3 or more years of experience.
 
U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Clearance: Secret
