Location: Boston, MA

Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking qualified and motivated professional for the position of Contract Close-Out Specialist.

Job Description:

Major Duties:
Must be familiar with and experienced with contract close-out processes.  Performs various day-to-day administrative clerical duties as required in support of the contract, closeout and subcontracts functions of the Agency. Gathers, complies, copies, organizes, and files accounting and financial data. Follows established procedures for cataloging, storing, and retrieving material. Performs basic administrative tasks in support of contract closeouts and subcontracts functions including the maintenance of files, generation of required correspondence and special projects as assigned.  
Knowledge Requirements:
  • Ability to work in large contract environment
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Must be familiar with and well versed with procedures according to FAR
  • Must be familiar with quick closeout procedures according to FAR
  • Various contracts to close include Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Labor and Hours, and Time and Materials
  • Familiarity with indirect rates and reconciling costs
  • Ability to utilize computers and associated software application
Experience/Education Requirements:
5-10 years experience with contract close-out processes in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree or;
A Bachelor’s Degree with less than 5 years experience with the contract close-out processes
U.S. Citizenship: Must be able to successfully pass a Federal Government level background check.
