Background Information

Due to numerous factors (i.e. organizational restructuring, procurement policy initiatives, the need for remote electronic access to procurement records, telework support initiatives, and
efforts to minimize environmental footprint) administrative support services are needed for a number of duties; converting physical procurement records/files containing numerous documents into electronic procurement records, making corrections in the electronic procurement system and the financial system; recording file data; close-out actions for contract files; typing memos. This list is not all inclusive but all duties will fall within this scope and scale of common administrative duties in procurement offices and as generally listed in the below labor categories.
Responsibilities/ Qualifications
Preparing, transcribing, transferring, systematizing, and preserving both written and computerized communications and records; gathering and distributing information.
The duties in this category also include: operating office machines; storing, distributing, accounting for stores of materials; distributing mail and delivering messages.
Performing other administrative support and clerical duties may be required.
